Have A Question? Now You Can Ask It On Facebook

Facebook has just released a new feature that allows you to ask questions to the community, like an integrated version of Yahoo Answers (thank God; Yahoo services always crash and burn anyway).  It is currently in a limited testing period, but will soon be available to everyone if it receives positive feedback.  Facebook Questions will allow you to tap into the knowledge of its 500+ million users.  All you have to do is click the “Ask Question” button at the top of the page.

You have the option of attaching a photo or a poll to your question.  For example, if you’re trying to identify a flower, you may want to attach a photo.  If you are trying to decide on a new computer, make a poll.  You can also tag questions so people who have answers are more likely to see it.  For example, if you want to know what kind of computer to buy, you may tag it with “Technology” or “Computers.”

Keep in mind that all questions and answers posted on Facebook Questions can be viewed by anyone on the Internet.

It looks like Facebook is continuing on its mission to take over the web.  Q&A sites are big.  People are always asking questions, online and offline.  And there’s something fun about sharing knowledge with others.
