Is Grooveshark Stooping To Trickery For VIP Memberships?

Grooveshark, the website that allows users to upload, play, and embed music for free (with ads of course) may be stooping to trickery to get you to remove the ads.

If you paid attention, Grooveshark used to have a button in the bottom-right corner of the screen that said “Remove Ads:  $3/mo.  Now that button changes to something different every time you refresh the page, all irrelevant to their VIP memberships.  However, the link always points to the same page.

The button rotates between many irrelevant phrases, including Jailbroken iPhone?, Get Grooveshark Mobile, That’s What She Said, I’m lonely, Blackberry App?, I’m watching you, You know you’re curious, Wanna scrobble?, and guitar solo.

Some of those are obviously just in fun, but others could actually be misleading.  Was it intentional, Grooveshark?  Were you just trying to tempt every “wondering” mind with “That’s what she said”?

Dude, most of those phrases have something to do with VIP. Besides that’s what she said and the curious thing, everything you mentioned is something only VIPs can get.
