Apple To Ban Protective Screen Film From Stores In May

Apparently Apple has been banning things again. This time, any type of protective screen film for the iPhone/iTouch for sale by Apple vendors is being banned in May of this year. Not only are they banning the protective films themselves, but they are also banning any iPhone/iTouch cover that includes a protective film.

They haven’t released any kind of explanation for this ban, but it wouldn’t be far-fetched to assume that it’s to support their claims of having the most durable screen out there.

Even more puzzling is the fact that the protective films will be available elsewhere, so people will go elsewhere to get them, and apple will lose sales!

Once again, this change will come in May 2010.
